The Damages of Plastic

Plastic is causing the most disastrous effects on our environment and to our animals. It is endangering species like turtles and dolphins, driving them towards extinction. Plastic is not only endangering our ocean creatures but also the coral reefs.

Straws are creating the highest level of damage. They are being eaten by animals of all kinds and are getting stuck in their throat, making it difficult to eat and breathe; as a result, suffocating the poor, innocent animal. In many incredible, kind food establishments, they have now transitioned to using paper straws rather than plastic. Could you do this too?

We need to stop this once and for all if we want to keep some of the most incredible, beautiful creatures on the planet.

Help protect all creatures in this wonderful world by using less plastic or recycling.

Man City Premier League

I think I speak for all of us when I say that Man City are looking good and keeping up their winning streak. They’re obviously stronger than they look and have crushed the teams that underestimated them, even though they have had some close scrapes with some rival teams. Thankfully the tension is over; they’ve won the Premier League!

I wish them the best of luck in their matches.

Ball-Tampering Scandal!!

The cricket world is still in shock from the scandal caught on TV: Australian bowler Cameron Bancroft tampering with the cricket ball.

Bancroft “ruffed up” one side of the ball, in order to create a Reverse Swing when the ball is thrown. A Reverse swing is harder to play, which means that the batsman will be less likely to hit the ball accurately and win runs.

The captain had given Bancroft some yellow sandpaper (used to maintain their bats) to roughen one side of the ball; the illegal action was caught on camera.

Captain Steve Smith and David Warner have received a one-year ban, and Smith has been replaced by Tim Paine as captain. The culprit, Cameron Bancroft, has been given a nine-month suspension.
