On 19th May 2018, Prince Harry and Megan Markle became husband and wife at St Georges Chapel, Windsor Castle. Around 600 people were invited and lots of tourists tried to watch from the outside! Prince Harry proposed to Meghan only 6 months before their wedding. It is rumoured that Harry and Meghan actually met on a blind date!
Rachel Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, was born 4th August 1981 (age 36). She grew up in Los Angeles, California and was famously known for her acting role in a popular American drama series called Suits.
It is traditional for a bride’s father to walk her down the aisle, but sadly Meghan’s father was too ill to travel from USA. Prince Charles stepped in and escorted Meghan. Meghan’s mother was present and very emotional throughout.
The wedding went perfectly to plan with the sun shining and everyone smiling. It was an incredible day!
