Hundreds and thousands of students came together on 24th March to ‘March For Our Lives’. Protests such as this, are taking place throughout the world, supporting the Anti-Gun movement, banning guns and thus reducing violence. Lots of students have removed themselves from school for their benefit of safety.
Students were heard saying “welcome to the revolution”, “we are the change” and “no more silence”.
It is hoped that we are the generation to make change and improve the lives of everyone.
Martin Luther King’s granddaughter, Yolanda Renee King was one of many powerful young speakers asking the crowd to repeat 3 simple sentences:
“Spread the word, have you heard? All across the nation. We are going to be a great generation!”
